About Integrated Wellbeing

A personal approach to counselling and yoga in Brisbane

We offer counselling and yoga therapy for people across Brisbane who are looking for gentle, practical support. We believe that wellbeing is deeply personal, and that healing happens when we care for the mind and body together.

Counselling, yoga, or both

You may choose counselling, yoga, or a thoughtfully integrated combination of both, depending on what feels most supportive for you. There is no expectation to take up both.

Some people come for counselling, some come for yoga, and some find that weaving the two together is exactly what they need.

Meet Heidi

Heidi is the Founder, Counsellor and Yoga Teacher at Integrated Wellbeing. She brings together her experience in people and culture, counselling and yoga to support wellbeing in a way that recognises the whole person, mind, body and everyday life.

Heidi believes lasting wellbeing comes from feeling heard, understood and supported, alongside having practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. Her approach combines evidence-based counselling with the philosophy and therapeutic practices of yoga, creating space for people to explore what matters to them and what may support meaningful change.

After many years working in Human Resource Management, Heidi was drawn to counselling and deepened her commitment to yoga as a therapeutic practice. Her Master’s research explored the connection between the ethical foundations of yoga, the Yamas and Niyamas, and a counsellor’s social constructionist approach to practice.

At the heart of Heidi’s approach is the belief that every person’s story is unique. She values collaboration, curiosity and recognising the strengths, values and resources people already bring.

Whether through counselling, yoga therapy or yoga classes, Heidi is committed to creating a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space where people feel heard, supported and empowered in their wellbeing journey.

Counselling Approach

Our counselling approach is Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Rather than dwelling on everything that feels hard, we focus on your strengths, notice what is already working, and take small, achievable steps toward the changes you want. Sessions are supportive, collaborative, and grounded in real life.

We bring the same spirit to yoga. For us, yoga is far more than movement or stretching. It is a philosophy and a way of living, a practice that supports your whole wellbeing, body, mind, and spirit. Whether you are navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, grief, or a major life transition, we are here to help you feel calmer, more connected, and more like yourself again.

Support is available both online and in person, wherever you are on your journey, with flexible appointment times including evenings and weekends where needed.
